Why has So-Cals 2010 2011 winter been so dry/warm this year?

All right so we got one big storm. Is that all we get this year and now we just resume the annoyingly summer like weather we have all year or do we get to have the little taste of winter weather between November and March we are normally blessed with. I'm sure this oddity in the weather is great for those whom the beach is the end all be all but for those of us who enjoy other activities such as hitting the slopes or even just storm watching it is really starting to eat away at ones patience watching the weather forecasts only to be greeted by the now excruciatingly familiar sight of clear sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s projected for the next six days and on into eternity, or at least so it would seem. What's going on?
