In the grand scheme of things, whats the difference between being gay & incest?

I know the actual difference, but they both can be looked at as odd sexual preferences depending on whom u question the oddity. I'm figuring you have to be born with both instances of these preferences, so, that's a pretty even playing field.. Is it that the gay community is just large enough to command acceptance? If there where a group large enough to fight for incest would that be accepted by culture eventually? Is it all just a game of numbers? Whether or not to divorce my husband of 21 years was a very hard one. It took me many years to decide to do it. How did it effect me? At first, I was depressed because it was a loss of sorts. 38 Week Labor/Pregnancy Questions ?

I'm almost 38 weeks, I had my cervix checked yesterday (monday) and I was 70% effaced (after going from a zero the monday before) my cervix have been softened for a week but I'm not very dialated. I've been drinking raspberry leaf tea, bouncing on a ball and went for a walk yesterday. I had bad cramps and contractions when I got done with the dr and in the evening lost a quarter size amount of my plug but no more after that. Contractions all night (but it was false labor) with me not even being at 38 weeks and 70% effaced and then losing my plug.. should I go the dr to see if I'm dialating more now or just wait till next weeks appt and ride it out?

Best friend lied and stole off me. What to do?

Being homesick natural for a puppy in a new environment. If she feels like she needs some alone time to get used to her surroundings, let her. Don't ignore her if she is reaching out. Get her to the vet to just do a quick first check up and ask the vet your medical questions (fixing, vaccinations... etc.) Being a Pomeranian, the puppy should be let out to "go" at least every 3 hours. Newspapers are always good for house training. Walks should be as long as she gets tired. No longer. Make sure you are in control when she is on a leash. And remember... GIVE HER LOTS OF LOVE!!!!

I am 20 years old, and I was in a relationship that started off great. I fell in love with him, and he loved me back. It was amazing. I saw myself always being happy with him, and having a future with him. Over a year later of us being together, I found out that he created an email 6 months before to sneak around to do something behind my back. (long story how i found that, but it wasnt cheating...he was going to make a certain website to make money...) I flipped out when i found this, and was going to break up with him that day cause i didnt trust him anymore, but he told me he would get my trust back, and to give him a chance to get it back, so i did. I got into a huge fight with him about this situation when i was hanging out with him a few days later, so to try to calm me down, he put his hands on me and shook me. We were awoken by people being wicked loud so he wanted us to go back to his house. I would of gotten in trouble if his parents caught me at his house so i put up a fight to stay. Then a few weeks later, we got into a fight in his truck and he wanted me to leave, but i didnt want to cause i wanted to resolve things before i went home so he reached over to my side of the car and opened the door for me and was pushing me full force to get out. I went home that day and thought about what happened and broke up with him. Its been a month and i really miss him because i truly loved him. He realized everything he did to me was wrong and he is going to therapy so he can help himself. He decided to do that on his own. Using halogen lights for black and white film?

I've done some research, but cannot get a straight answer from any site. Shooting a short film, mostly indoors during the day. Using black and white 16mm reversal film. I'd like to save money on buying lights because there are halogen Work Force (brand) worklights in my garage that I am thinking about using. Would this be suitable? Would I get good results with or without a light gel to soften it?

Removable disk says "there is not enough space on disk" but there is! HELP?

I'm trying to transfer music by using a removable disk- I successfully transferred 84 songs, but when I put the disk back into the computer after I had deleted all of the files off of it, it tells me that there is no space on the disk, when there is NOTHING on the disk. How do I resolve this! If it helps, I'm using a Windows XP computer, but I tried it on a Mac and I have the same problem.

Desperate lady needs input on her kitty-care...?

Everyone out there reading this, bear with me...I am beside myself on this & have many, many years of experience w/felines but this one is for the ages and & need some input from those of you out there who may have something productive to share. (Please, no idiot responses b/c this is serious = thanks). ...I'll try to make this brief...Last Sept. a stray female feline wondered up to property. She was very, very thin, young (prob 1 yr. old now) and had swollen teats. I knew she had kittens somewhere. I fed the poor starving animal b/c she was eating out of my trash can! Yep, feed a stray, they stay. Kept her as outdoor kitty. Have 3 car garage, heated in winter & doggy-door that cat was trained to use. Have food/water bowls & bed. Cat is a good, sweet, loving thing & a good mouser. She got pregnant again ( :-o ) & gave birth to 5 beautiful, healthy kittens. Gave all kittens away @ 8 wk. mark. Made plans for spaying. Financial times b tough so found one who'd do on the cheap. (it included all shots = we were thrilled @ the $65 quote!) Had to wait 3 wks. after last nursing of kittens & @ that 3 wk. mark, "Riley" went in to be spayed. Now, we were warned about this vet being known as a "butcher" and that a lot of folk around these parts usually has ended up w/dead pets after he gets hold of them. I was worried & concerned but again, times b tough; had to risk it. Riley went in on 5/23. Picked her up 5/24. Yep, she was "butched" & butched BIG time. I set about spoiling her & kept her confined for 3 days. On 5/31 @ 2:15pm, I found my little Riley-girl laying out in my driveway w/her guts lying outside of her body cavity. She was still alive! I ran to her, scooped her up w/guts in other hand. Put her in her carrier cage, sped off vet - HAD to use same one - what other choice did I have? (He ended up duping us & charged $125 for the spaying/shot deal - who's da sucker now folks?!) I have been traumatized, hysterical, depressed, worried & guilt to the 10th degree over all of this folks. ....still cannot get the image of poor little Riley out in driveway w/guts hanging out & believe me when I tell you that I am a "tough bird" when it comes to things...(No wuss is Miss Joy!) Vet nvr. sanitized hands or table, nvr. cleansed her innards. (I know b/c I stayed & witnessed it all). Shoved 'em back in & stitched. Filled her w/antibiotics, kept her for 2 days then sent her home w/me having to do wound care for 10 days & an antibiotic pill x2 a day. Vet said only 1 in 100 survive this sort of thing. Cat got constipated b/c of meds. Had to take her off for 2 days to soften bowels. Wound came open AGAIN 2 days ago. Rushed her back, this time he DID re-open her, cleansed everything, put her back together & I brought her home ystrday afternoon. She was full of infection & wound came open b/c she is so eaten up w/infection that her skin had begun to rot. It is amazing to me that this poor, innocent, sweet & loving animal has survived all of this (Me too!) and she'll drink fresh water, eats very, very, VERY little. Actually wretches @ smell of canned cat food. Will lick juices of pork fat ( to help w/bowels?) chicken noodle soup juices and kitten formula. Blessed little thing will even use litter box I've set up for her while she's on "lock-down". Vet sent me home this last time w/a spray for wound care called "Vetericyn" that cost us $30 for 4 oz. We gladly pd. him for it as the sucker did not charge us for the last two "episodes" (which he shouldn't have = bung hole) ...sorry... I have to spray her wound x4 a day & back on antibiotic pill x2 a day. I seriously need to bathe her as the infection "juices" that had been dripping & dripping out of her is all over her lower abdomen, legs, etc. I need to wait @ least 3 days to allow the fresh wound (surgical site) to seal before I make that attempt. What I need from anyone of you out there reading this is this: What can I do to help poor little Riley to eat & keep up her strength & health? Please, I am desperate. I care deeply about this animal and she did not deserve this happy-crappy & all that she's now gone through & I'm betting this kitty has used 5 of her 9 lives on all of this by now. (?!) (sigh & sniff) I feel so guilty & responsible and if she's still living after all of this, well then; Miss Joy ain't throwing in the towel either! Left 4 Dead Console Command Oddities?

I'm just very curious to a few things. Now, when you are in the home menu, you can press the "~" key and it will bring up the console command. When it's up in the main menu, you can type in "map (name of the level/map you want to play)" and it will create a single player server that allows you to then open command console in the game and cheat. ("sv_cheats 1") But when you are the survivor and you type "give (name of item you want)", a few odd things come up. These odd things are: boomer claw, charger claw, hunter claw, jockey claw, smoker claw, spitter claw and tank claw. So, i thought 'well. this might be fun.' but when i tried to spawn this item, i regular, first-class pistol drops in front of me and it glows blue but even if you have a melee weapon, you can't pick it up. So, does anybody know what these are and/or what they do?

I get mad when I see people I know getting married at my age and the pressure society puts on people. 37 weeks and 2 days too early to pack for hospital if having a scheduled C-section for second time?

This is my 2nd child, and i am currently 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I am having a C-section on July 8th. With my daughter I didn't have my bag packed cause I went to the doctors office at 38 weeks and 5 days and he sent me over to the hospital to be induced due to high blood pressure. But with my daughter I hadn't dilated and barely started to efface, soften. My doctor checked me at my visit this week and my cervix had just barely started to soften. So I was just wondering, should I go ahead and pack my bag and my daughters bag for the stay at my in-laws or wait til the end of June. My husband thinks I should wait. How do I stop a child in my neighborhood from trying to be my daughters friend?

I feel so terrible about it, but there is a 13 year old girl in my neighborhood that is desperate to be friends with my daughter who is 10. I have always been open and accepting of all children my kids have played with, but this girl really gets on my nerves. She is way more developed than my daughter and her friends (who are 10 and 11), and she wears dirty revealing clothes and usually a very undersupportive bra. She is a loner and she says the strangest things that make people distance themselves from her. She is also very physically aggressive and uses profanity. I did meet her parents and they SEEM normal and caring, so I am not certain as to how this girl became so socially awkward. Normally, I try to talk to the kids I have problems with, and often they improve over time. So I feel simply awful that I don't want to do this with her. She makes me uncomfortable in a way that I don't even understand, and I simply don't want her around my daughter or my daughters friends, who also think she is very strange. The only one who really likes her is my daughter, and that is because my daughter likes everyone and is a very accepting person. I am just grateful that she has other girls around her to protect her and inform her of this girls oddities that she is so able to overlook. I need to trust my instincts on this and keep my kid busy so she can avoid her, but I need a diplomatic way to do it. She is not just going away.

HELP!!! my leo isnt moving at all..?

In order for him to move I have to actually pick him up and move him. He doesn't seem to be using his legs at all, one of the front elbows looks swollen or something. He just finished shedding which took over 2 days to do (and I had to help him with that by means of a warm bath to soften the skin). While I was helping the shed come off, the one with the weird elbow was twitching a little and if I pulled to hard on the back legs he would look back at them. He's able to move his tail as well so I don't think he's paralyzed but I don't understand why he's not getting up and moving at all. I fed him a lil bit of reptaide but he didn't eat much. For his size, his tail is plump, he's starting to look skinny in the body though. I keep calcium supplement in his tank which he has been nibbling on (not recently), a moist hide anddry hide. I haven't been able to find a reptile vet in my area... any suggestions?? What's wrong with him?? What do I do??

So I'm 37 wks pregnant and in was having contractions 5 mins apart for 2 days. I decided to go into labor and delivery and they checked me and said I'm indeednhaving 5 min apart contractions but they are mild. They also checked me and said I'm not dilated at all, my cervix is still posterior and closed, however it's softening and thinning. well for me lets see with my third i had been to the hospital on a saturday because i was leaking fluid n was having a little bit of contractions but i got sent home, so i was told to go to my dr on monday but his office was closed so i had to wait till tuesday n he sent me to the hospital for an ultrasound n from there they sent me to suppoubly do i stress test n then next thing i know i see my dr come in talking about take off ur pants n im lik what are u talking about he said im going to check you so im lik ok n then he says im going to break ur water n ur getting pitocin this baby has to come out today n im like but i still got two more weeks to go n his lik no you dont, so at lik 4 i got one dose of pitocin n i didnt need no more cuzz after my water got broken my baby n my body did everything on their own at 8:29 i had my baby with all together took about 4 and a half hours but i think it was more painfull with the pitocin oh might i had that i didnt have no pain medication n the dr was 5 mintues late so the nurses delivered my baby lol....

My car has trouble starting after it rains...?

My car is a hyundai accent gl 2000 and I have had it for awhile now. It has been having trouble in that after it rains it makes the sounds of starting but it has a violent shake to it- after which I have to shut it off and then restart it and it is fine. Plus, my check engine light is on. it has been to a mechanic a couple of times to see what the issue is but it hasn't been resolved yet. Any ideas?

As I was walking down Decatur St. today, I noticed several fairies or pixies painted on buildings. They were only about 3 to 4 inches big and just a solid colored outline a few inches above the sidewalk. Do they mean anything? Or did i just find a rare gem of oddities in the Big Easy?

GSD's odd reaction to temporary addition to household?

I adopted a 2 year-old GSD from a rescue organization about 5 months ago. She has adjusted well to the family and is in all ways a fabulous addition to our family. I started providing childcare for my sister's 1 year-old son, who is really great with our dog and has one of his own at home. The only oddity about my situation is that after my nephew leaves in the afternoon, my pup doesn't want to go outside to go potty. The first day he was here, she actually peed a bit in the house when we asked her to go outside. I'm sure it's got to be a position-in-the-pack kind of thing, but how can I help? She's fine when he's here, very watchful, sniffs him when he falls, overall she's very caring. I just don't want my little pup to feel she has lost her place in our pack. Any ideas?

Confused about what my purpose is, how do I resolved this?

I'm 25 and had my life and career mapped out, nursing by the age of 27, own place, maybe a husband and of my lovely daughter in a top school. Ok but my life took a turn, I failed my nursin program by 2 points, and I still got debt smh. So now I plan on taking a semester off to demolish this debt, by January I should he back in school. The problem is, my motivation for everything has either disappeared or died. I know failing that nursing program has me questioning my purpose and even makin me have self doubt. I know I want to look into dentistry but what deprives me, is what it requires to become a dentist. I do have it in me but I think I'm a lil weak mined, meaning I let people opinions get the best of me. I work around nothing by nurses, so of course they will only tell me to go for nursing, which they always do. I don't mind it, but I believe that's not for me, not for the next 40 plus years anyway. I'm thinking long term when it comes to dentistry. I can own my own business, I can make my own hours, I don't have to answer to no one but the client, not the doctor, nurse manager, supervisor, or whomever else. The last thing on my mind is money, because I rather enjoy my job more than anything but both pay is excellent, especially a dentist. I have distraction, my home, my shift at work ( nights full time), men ( I like but then it's always something), and my Childs father. I know moving will allow me to clear my head, I been in this same place for 25 years, I been with a man for three years off n on and not it's officially off, I need change I tell ya and maybe that will lead me to a new path... Movies are by far my all time favourite thing. I consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer, but I would give up all my games in a heartbeat if I could watch movies for the rest of eternity. Bowel movement problem?

So, I haven't had a normal bowel movement in 3 days (Like, a normal, nice solid turd) Everytime I go to try to go the bathroom it just feels like I'm pushing nothing, but sometimes then a tiny tiny soft peice comes out. I've had 3 times(each day) Where a decent amount of soft, slightly thin (Not extremely thin, a little bit bigger then your thumbnail) stools came out, but I still feel full after. Today the same thing has been happing, I don't really have the urge to go, but I feel full. I had a decent amount of the same thin ones, but I feel very gassy and I feel slight movement inside of my stomach, also full, but not bloated, just like I just eat a decent sized meal with slight gas. Everytime I feel movement I rush to the toilet, but I usually just fart and have a tiny, soft stool. Can any one help? I've taken colace/citrucel to soften it if there is a bowel impaction, I've decided if I can't fix it by tonight ill go buy milk of magneisa. 'Question. I just moved to the area to attend college in August of last year. I was really ready to meet people and make friends. About halfway through the semester someone said that I should get an account on Facebook to meet people. So I did. Well, after going to church 'religiously' twice a Sun and joining a few clubs here and there at college I still found myself without anyone to 'hang out with. Yes I have met people, but when they pass me in the hallway I am ignored just like they did not ever meet me. The page is fully filled out with my own interests and likes, so I have put myself out there. I just don't get it. My parents were in the Military, so I had to move around alot while I was younger so I never really got close to a group of people. Is AS/A level maths unachievable for me?

So basically I'm applying for A level courses and iv'e read that one of the most desired and core subjects in A levels is mathematics, I got a B on my GCSE's for maths but at a oddity, iv'e basically cheated on it, I came to the exam late and for that I had a bit of extra time at my hands and I could not answer most if not all the questions on the exam cause I bunked so much that I basically fked myself over but luckily I had my teacher there for at the risk of his job help me answer more than half the exam since we were basically the only one's in the room, so now I have a B for my GCSE's and I'm wondering if I should use this opportunity to take on A level maths but within two months I have to re learn fully my higher tier maths and take on some A/AS level style books and revisions is this achievable? Can this really be done in 2 months? I know for a fact mathematics is one of the most essential degrees that you would need for any job or any universities. (Side note, other subjects I wish to take on are accounting, law and either economics or business has to be one of them only) but sadly I think acc and law are considered "soft" subjects and probably won't help too much in uni that's if I'm planning to go since the fees at uni are high as **** and is it worth it to go uni? I have 6 GCSE's and a BTECH for business at merit, but this is sooooo low compared to my friends they are all on A star and B's at the very least having at least 10 GCSE's or equivalent and sad thing is I'm chinese and I'm **** at maths and science ahhh but thats for another question later...ty for reading.

Definitely go back to groundwork, the stubbornness can either be from not understanding your cues or she doesn't respect you and is being lazy. Try the lunging, then go back to riding and try again. If she still resists, try going back to something else she knows and work with that for a while. Also remember that horses have their bad days, so she just might be having hers. I've tried watching this show, but it feels like a triumph of style over substance. It is gorgeous to look at, but there's hardly any plot to speak of, just lots of people smoking and staring off into space all emo, brooding about the terrible ennui of their easy, pampered lives. They toss in some social oddities of the 1960s at random and there's some mildly entertaining banter from time to time but that doesn't save a show that doesn't go anywhere... I just don't understand the hype.

My kids had cradle cap until they were quite old...I know for a fact I was scraping it off my 13 year olds head only a year or two ago! It's hard to tell when you aren't really washing their hair anymore (between ages 6-8). For my oldest daughter, I used medicated dandruff shampoo (almost like a tar shampoo prescribed by her pediatrician) and it smelled awful! For my next two I used Paul Mitchell Baby Don't Cry shampoo. My sisters and niece are hairdressers and they suggested I try it. It did the trick. Wash your sons hair with the shampoo, scrubbing as you rinse. Then with a fine comb, literally scrape the scalp to get the dead skin off. Keep using the Paul Mitchell and keep combing and it should come under control. If that doesn't work after a week or two, ask your doctor.

Is it weird for me to be unconcerned about my dad when he's practically dying?

So my life started out with both parents, but at age 11 my mother died. It was just my dad. He never remarried even though there were women in his life. My dad and I certainly didnt have the best relationship when I was a teenager, but he softened just a little bit while I was in college. I'm now 31 and he's has cancer in the thigh (he says the doctor says it is an unknown type) and has had surgery in the past 4 years, and recently has had chemo and radiation. I call him about once a week because he gets upset with me if I wait any longer than that. When I do call him, he tells me about the effects of the illness and the treatments. I cried one time when he told me his hair started to come out in patches. After that, I have been pretty unemotional and I really dont get caught up in what he's feeling. My sister stays 20 minutes away and she doesnt seem very concerned either. I'm not sure if its because our dad has a history of over exaggerating or if its just because he wasnt the best father when it came to our emotions growing up. Is this weird? If there's anyone else that's been through this and have felt very un-attached to a potentially dying parent please write back. I just want to know if something psychological is happening that I'm not realizing.

Hi guys im being induced on sunday for health reasons at 38 weeks exactly ive been drinking raspberry leaf tea to help with the labour but my question being should it help with the induction process i have read places that it soften the cervixs i have never been induced i had my first son naturally at 40 weeks +12 days on the day i was suppose to be induced can somebody please tell me if my theroy is right and drinking the tea may help the induction process my baby is engaged and i keep getting twinges so im hoping it will go quickly and smoothly many thanks.

'Question. I just moved to the area to attend college in August of last year. I was really ready to meet people and make friends. About halfway through the semester someone said that I should get an account on Facebook to meet people. So I did. Well, after going to church 'religiously' twice a Sun and joining a few clubs here and there at college I still found myself without anyone to 'hang out with. Yes I have met people, but when they pass me in the hallway I am ignored just like they did not ever meet me. I have been on Facebook for almost a year now and I have tried to add friends on there, but no one accepts my add, and not one person has added me (not even 'spammers'). The page is fully filled out with my own interests and likes, so I have put myself out there. I just don't get it. My parents were in the Military, so I had to move around alot while I was younger so I never really got close to a group of people. I would really like to do so, but it just seems as if I am an 'oddity' for people to look at but not to interact with. I was under the impression that could get a group of friends to 'hang out' with in college, but it's like no one wants to get to know anything about me. The people I have met go on 'outings' as I overhear them talking about them, but I haven't been invited anywhere. I don't feel like I should impose by asking to be invited somewhere. It would be nice to be invited somewhere, but I don't know what to do. I have been here almost a full year and still do not know anyone here as far as students. Even the people in the clubs I am in, and the tutoring center I go to just treat me as a 'customer.' Advice on baby born at 37 weeks opposed to 40?

I have a question I am 37 weeks pregnant and am almost completely unable to walk. I suffer from S.P.D which is when the pubic bones soften and rub together with movement. My back is now thrown out which I am not sure yet what caused it but I do think I am having Braxton Hicks in my back. I am in so much pain. I want to talk to my doctor about all this and look at my options. I am fully willing to go until 40+ weeks without induction if that is what is best for my baby. I just want some opinions from mothers. If my doctor wants to induce me I was going to request checking the baby's size and if possible the lungs to insure he is ok to be born. I don't know what to do I will not be induced no matter how much pain I am in if it will risk my sons health. But am I taking a risk if I am induced at 37 weeks? If I wait would your recommend waiting until after 40 weeks or before in 38 or 39 weeks to agree to induce? I feel so guilty for even considering induction. I feel like a bad mother so please be kind. I am in more pain then I can ever remember being and that is the only reason why I am taking it into consideration.

How long does a doctor have to give me to pay my bill?

I received a bill from them stating that I have ten days to pay. It is the first bill I have received from them. I received it on the 28th, but it was dated 22nd. My health insurance company refused to pay because they want a letter stating that my auto insurance has paid my limit. It will take a few days for my car insurance company to get that to my health insurer and who knows how long for my health insurance company to act on it. The doctor will get paid one way or another, but giving me 4 days, not even really the 10 stated on the letter seems a bit off to me. I thought they had to give you at least 30 days on the first bill before they could charage a late fee or really go after you. Yes, I will make sure they get paid. I did not know my health insurance company would do what they did, I am in the process of clearing the matter up. The letter does not state that they can or will charge me a late fee or go after me if I don't pay by their supposed 10-day deadline. Is this just a scare tatic? What if they don't get paid for 2 or 3 weeks, which is the time it may take to realistically resolve the matter?

Having trouble connecting Windows Media Center to Xbox?

I'm having trouble connecting my Xbox 360 to my Windows Media Center. It tells me it can't be configured and that my router may be blocking UPNP technology. I called my internet company and tried to have them open the UPNP on the router but they sounded confused about what I was trying to do and weren't much help. I have a Speedstream router with MTS.
