English learned in less than one month?

It is possible that i learned english (both spoken and written) in less than one month?there was a time i already knew basic phrases learned on tv,then i began to learn it..i started to search for people who had msn but was english speaking,i started saying oddities like "you how?" in the place of "how are you?","you good" on the place of "you are good","football play i" in the place of "i like to play football" and so on mixing my own language..and all what i am saying now is the result of one month chatting (and being corrected),and i'm much good in speaking too taking the fact that i rarely watched films in english language and the few times i speaked (not wrote) with an english speaking person i understood all what they was saying to me and i was always able to reply..can i do so also with other languages?
